Frank’s final album for Capitol reunited him with Axel Stordahl, the arranger who worked with Frank in the ‘40s and the man who arranged his first session for Capitol. Wonderful renditions of the standards "There Will Never Be Another You," "September Song," "These Foolish Things," "I’ll Remember April" and more await. Capitol.

Point of No Return, his final album for Capitol before moving to his own Reprise label, was recorded in two two-hour sessions with Axel Stordahl, the arranger/conductor who worked with Sinatra in the ‘40s and on the first Capitol sessions in (the final four tracks). Stordahl was ill with cancer, but his work here is, arguably, the best.
