Static electricity, which forms when the record touches another surface in a dry environment, can lead to irritating feedback if not properly addressed. Apply face-cleansing peel to the surface of the record with an artist's brush. Make sure the peel is hypoallergenic and free of emollients. Wait until the peel dries, and then gently pull it off.

For me it was fun to listen to We bigsnonabermalinmucelrobilamcess.coinfo Cross / Beginning of the End as it would fit into progressive rock! But many other catchy songs which are nice sing-alongs are on this album. Then i sold many of my vinyl and now after more then 30 years i saw it very cheap on CD. And to my very very surprise this album has aged very well.

Vinyl LP Bright light Pencil. Paper. A matrix or stamper number is a code etched inside the end-groove area found on each side of a vinyl LP. Consisting of numbers and/or letters, the code may indicate recording dates, specific takes, and even the system of recording. For instance, a matrix number can identify a first pressing of an LP.

May 22,  · I just do my own wet wash, which totally kills the static on the records. When you play them, though, they build up static again. To combat that, I bought this anti-static mat which is very effective at minimizing the static buildup on standard vinyl (I have a collection of Franklin Mint records which have some kind of proprietary anti-static ability and they build up almost no static even.

Sep 16,  · She describes her work as being the end of the creative process and the beginning of the manufacturing process. If the recorded album is destined to be a vinyl record, it is her job to optimize the audio for the medium. She then literally cuts the music into an acetate-coated aluminum disc called a lacquer disk with the aid of a lathe.

Jun 05,  · Distortion/noise near end of record Post by Spyes» As the title suggests, every time I listen to a record, the last 5 minutes or so are usually way more distorted or have too much noise, and I don't have to tell you how frustrating that is!
