Would we know good without evil? Could good exist without evil? Can God truly be good if he can’t choose evil? As Christians, we know good can exist without evil because God is self-existent and was good without the existence of any evil. As for whether God can be truly good if he only ever chooses the good — and only ever can choose good because that is who he is — I do not think that.

Upward Bound gives qualifying high school students a boost toward higher education with classes and tutoring, plus nonacademic programs that improve study and life skills. Qualifying students come from low-income households or are first-generation-to-college hopefuls, and must come from a list of high schools or neighborhoods around Boston.
