Live is a live video by the American hard rock band Blue Öyster Cult, released in in Europe by Castle Communications on VHS, 15 years after the recording that is on the tape. It was recorded in suburban Maryland (The Washington, DC Metro area) during the tour for their Agents of Fortune album and included the same lineup that was.

Blue Öyster Cult recorded a new version of "Astronomy" for their concept album Imaginos, which was based on Pearlman's poem "The Soft Doctrines Of Imaginos." The concept is that Imaginos is born in and given superhuman powers.

This is Blue Oyster Cult live in Maryland in so what can possibly go wrong? After all On Your Feet or On Your Knees from the year before was awesome & the set list has classics such as Harvester Of Eyes, ME, Cities On Flame + the additions of Astronomy and The Reaper, two of their greatest tracks - unfortunately that's as exciting as it gets as two things sink this CD dead in the water /5(7).

Blue Öyster Cult. 6 hours ago. people could have thought that their Secret Treaties vinyl was damaged due to "Flaming Telepaths" ending/transition to Astronomy? I imagine someone enjoying the album and then hearing "And the joke's-" and being hyper angry thinking their vinyl was damaged.

Oct 21,  · To be fair, Blue Oyster Cult's dreadful performance doesn't help any. Though the packaging states that this is "vintage" BLC at their "peak," most fans know that by , the progressive heavy-metal band was already five years past its prime. The 11 featured tunes show the band moving away from their raw, heavy origins and becoming a rock cliché/5(33).
